01 / Background
I started teaching myself programming at 13. I began with websites because I cared about design, moved through Java and Android, and eventually became absorbed in systems programming and the idea of understanding software from the ground up.
My path has been independent rather than institutional. Alongside programming, I work with my father in our family upholstery business in Tampa. That work has taught me to be reliable, solve practical problems, and carry something from a customer's request through to a finished result.
I am now working to bring those years of independent engineering into a professional software team. I want to contribute what I already know, learn from experienced engineers, and grow through code review, collaboration, and responsibility for software that people actually depend on.

Complete customer upholstery jobs in a small family-run business, solving practical problems and carrying work from requirements through delivery.
